A publisher lists a title through their own storefront. They set the price, the access terms, and whether resale is allowed. A reader buys it and receives a durable ownership record tied to their identity — not to the store they bought it from. They can read it in any compatible app. If the publisher enabled resale, the reader can transfer ownership to someone else, and the publisher's revenue share is honoured automatically.
